A Levels are two weeks away, but how I wish that it's just next week. This waiting is killing. Especially if you keep fantasizing about what's gonna happen after lit. I can't believe man, why can't they just place open texts on the following Monday immediately? This sucks. Fuck.

MYX studios, located in some warehouse area near Potong Pasir, is offering local bands 2 full days to record professionally. I recorded there once this year and it was really quite good, although alot of equipment was already damaged. Plus, the sound technician is very professional and did his studies overseas too. Really nice place, with many records done with local bands, e.g. Force Vomit, Rudra (this band created a new genre of music called Vedic metal which is rocking other countries now). Anyhow, there are CDs of really great bands and individuals there, Virgil Donati, Tower of Power etc, if you have a band with originals, go on and try it out. Just don't go there and waste time by not being able to follow the click track and stuff. Recording time isn't cheap (few hundreds) although this ones free.

Their facilities are housed on the rooftop spanning an area of 5000 sq ft in total which include a large and comfortable tracking room, vocal booth, live recording areas, 3 practice rooms, an editing and programming suite, a HUGE balcony and canteen. They are fully self contained for jobs that last through the day. Trust me, I have seen deep friers lying around.
