This weekend was uber fun, got to spend time with my dearie and at the same time catch up with the bandies.

First it was meeting up for Huimins dinner birthday celebration on friday. Blew a load of cash in one night but definitely was worth it. Picked dearie up from her house then drove to town (its been a long time since i last went there), parked at forum and started walking around aimlessly due to our way too early arrival. Ended up at Toys 'R' Us looking at toys which I missed out on during my childhood. Hai. Sigh. Anyway hahah, dearie ended up bombarding me with her crazy barbie doll fantasies. Hmmmm. Finally met up with first Andre, then Amy and Yaofeng at Macs before heading to California Pizza to eat tons of dough. After our dinner at CP, we drove/cabbed down to Hooters at Boat Quay. We ordered a round of drinks and then the birthday girl decided to take a potshot at some weird ass sour sauce chicken wings. Ok la at first it stung our noses but it got rather acceptable after a while. Luckily the next 20 chicken wings which arrived were teriyaki sauce wings which was wiped out in seconds, leaving the only sour sauce drumlet on the table. Ya it sucks compared to the teriyaki wings, wah i feel like having some now. The Hooters girls doing their hoolahoop dance trapped Amy and Enru outside the toilet. Quite embarrasing cause the whole restaurant was staring. Anyway we went down to MindCafe! Its becoming a hot favourite and credit goes to the girl friend which first brought us there. Cranium and Taboo rocks my socks and we played the game all the way till 2am. Without even realising. Im not going into details coz i bet the others will be typing about it. Anyway the games are darn fun and im going to save up to buy them.

The next day, dearie and I rented movies from video ezy. I didnt know they also rent bollywood movies. Wah quite tempting but the length of the movies quite disturbing. Its freaking 3 hours. I remember the last time we ventured to go watch one in a cinema i was quite amused that it had a intermission in the center. ANYHOW, Dhoom 2 looks quite interesting. Anyway i stupidly went to put disc 2 of some chinese movie we were supposed to watch into the dvd player first without realising it. AFTER 40 mins the credits started rolling! I gotta admit it is one of the better chinese movies I have ever watched. When i went to check the box i realised that disc 1 was inside. WAH DAMN STUPID. Ruined a good show hahaha. Hai, sorry dearie. After that we went for alumni practice, my first day in percussion section. Super fun, ok not like DAMN out of this world fun but fun la. We had supper after.

SUNDAY! May, Amy, Yam, Enru, Marcus, Dearie and me went to east coast for Kayaking! Was fun but super tiring, couldnt feel the fatique until later on in the day when we already cleaned up and were chilling. Anyway my skin is very sensitive to singapore waters which are not exactly clean. Rashes started appearing. Kayaking is very fun especially at the start where your still full of energy. Itchy. After that we met up with Sally and Liang at Dohby to chill and then watch Transformers. I cant believe some stupid magazine gave transformers a 2 star rating. I think its one of the best adaptations I ever saw. Bumble bee is damn cool. Correction, its the coolest.

Anyway this weekend was a blast. I literally blew more than a hundred bucks on all the activities but it was really worth it, and to see the girlfriend smile alot is definitely worth it.
