So it took 2 years for us the win a competition, cut an album and finally launch it. Sadly, after all these hard work, I will be leaving Singapore. So tomorrow's album launch concert in a way is a mini farewell from me to Flybar, all the songs parts rehearsed and created together with the other members, hoping that we can leave our legacy behind or something.
It struck me when Zhemin told me the other day while holding up the album for the first time, "At least I can show my kids next time what Daddy did while he was young". For those few seconds I felt proud of myself. The album was done because of music inspiration, and after hearing all my heroes coming out with their own, I wished to have one. I never thought about it being something I could keep and look back in the day. Call it impulsive or expensive, it was definitely not regrettable. Some how some way all the investments came back and it was a long tiring but fruitful ride.
Now its my time to take hiatus from the band and enjoy myself overseas, missing my honey and missing the band. makes you high, makes you fly
