So Saints Alumni did not do well in the competition. I can't believe it, its like doing everything right, sounding great but not even getting a gold award. What in the fucking hell are the judges looking for anyway. I mean some other bands couldn't even make it and they actually got higher marks than us. I really cannot believe it. But I guess I have seen too much of this in private competitions. People letting others win due to political reasons that would have made the situation look good or for the "greater" good, but never the people who deserve to win. That sucks and I would say people who do that don't have any sort of backbone.
Well its over, and I must congratulate The Alumni Band on a job well done, I think they were fantastic and should be very proud of themselves. As for the organizers, you should be ashamed of yourselves.
Anyway, Huishan only has like 25 days left in Singapore before she heads overseas and I will follow suit. I'm getting sadder everyday but pain makes people grow. The army, scars on your life and things that make you feel sad and cause you pain. They only make you grow, at the end of the day your not dead. So, keep my head up and be strong, be strong. To all those out there, count your blessings and be grateful for what you have.
