School has been very busy here for me. Its not so much the schedule they give you, but you work hard here because everyone is trying to be the next big thing. So in all my free time its study or practice and not much free time to do any other activities.
So I don't update my blog much as you can see, but I do on the weekends!
Yeah anyway this week has been busy and its only going to get busier. We have a clique now, mostly made of people who live in my campus apartment/dorm. Today was the first time I played soccer in a cold weather country too, and was the only Singaporean playing with so many people from different places. So me and my friend Ed (please refer to previous entries) met at school and walked across the Charles River to MIT. That's where the team trains, on a turf pitch. It was really different. Had fun and leg cramps. Almost scored but didn't, surprisingly I could cope with it. Walking around Boston so much has made me a lot fitter than I can imagine.
So my friends and I called each to meet for dinner on this Sat, we headed down to Haymarket Station then walked to Hanover for Italian food. It was just a whole street full of Italian restaurants and bakery. Here are the photos! Yeah, putting my camera to good use.
Ok this is where I stay, used to be called Park view Chambers or something like that, its an apartment building.
Ryan Johnson from the USA, we call him John Mayer.
Nadia Sosnoski from the OC whos my neighbour and Riley from Canada.
Come on, you guys know the Liberatore Vibratore from Canada.
You guys remember Jon Ong from Flybar, yeah this was taken while we took the T down to our destination.
Night shot.
Lobster Ravioli I had.
Paul Revere, statue on the Freedom Trail at Northend.
Chilling at my room, Nadia and Ryan, singing and playing a song they wrote for Jon, called my favourite Asian. Its really good.
Jon, Alex and Riley on the other side, I'm on the top bunk bed.
Yeah so today was a real chill day, NO MUSIC, and just hanging out and chilling. Initial plans to match P.S I love you at the TV Lounge downstairs failed. But we will get it one night, its like this guy in our dorms has 30 different movies he can rent in a month, so everynight is movie night.
How is everyone doing back in Singapore!? I miss you guys, wish there was a teleportation machine or something like that. Oh well, we gotta depend on MIT for that. Starting to settle down here and stuff, but in my heart, home and love are the most important after all.
When you see me on MSN talk to me, please. I miss Miss Goh Huishan alot! .... Hai. Aiyah. Hai.
