Armageddon was showing for the umpteenth time on TV today. But it never fails to catch my attention every time. First of all, Liv Tyler. Who would have thought that Steven Tyler could produce such a beautiful daughter! I mean have you seen that guy? Besides having an awesome voice and exuding drops of coolness, he's not exactly good looking. In fact he kind looks like a skinny fish ball noodles stall tender. This gives me hope in producing a beautiful daughter. *Crosses fingers* Secondly, for those who don't know me that well, I'm quite a movie junkie, I watch everything (forced to watch horror), from documentaries to trashy girl romance flicks and I don't really get sick of them (except the usual Hollywood-bad-girl-gone-good+romance-feel-good story lines) usually. Best part of watching a movie I guess would be its voyeuristic aspect, being an arm chair explorer, living fantasies through sight and dealing with raw emotions crafted from the flat world. As expected, the movie evoked so many emotions, I didn't get "emo" per se cause there really was any reason to be unhappy, but I did evoke quite a bit of sadness. Sigh, does it have to be that sad? The Green Mile would be the ultimate all time tear jerker. Although I only watched that title once.
HD5 is awesome.
Oh yes, and its almost a formal invitation already (have to discuss with Shan first), I'm thinking of organizing a "fingerfoodpartie". Pot luck, all food must be finger food, drinks provided, movies must be brought along, please don't be afraid of a 2 year old Alaskan Husky, a 3 year old Labrador, and a 10 year old Mongrel (plus a dead 12 year old Toy Poodle). Just a small gathering, nothing special. Not a "St James Powerhouse" gathering. The more I think of it the more the idea is sold to me. Let me know.
