the big ass of self

I think therefore I exist -Descartes. It doesn't just state that we exist, but carries the overtones of the importance of us coming into harmony with being. But what it really amounts to is the proposition of "non-being" or death. So the question is, do you really do something cause you want to live life, or do you do it cause you don't want to miss out on life. Similar but different, driven by different causes, stemming from the same core. On a lighter note, I thought that learning more about Ecocentrism and Deep Ecology would propel me to break away from my Biocentric views, but nuances running through my system has in fact cemented my biocentrism due to the rejection of the former two. And although biocentrism sometimes may seem a little fluffy and religious, I am still drawn to it, mainly via the reverence applied to its subjects. I acknowledge anthropocentric views, but then again, views are views, and when choosen to, I can ignore them.

Gratitudes to all who made the "fingering event" possible. Anyone with pictures can post them up. Let me rephrase that; anyone with pictures, can you post them up please? Hope you all had a great time and enjoyed the Tokaji, I'm going to buy higher grades soon! Too much food though. Lets do it again soon, perhaps during the mid-sem break, which is almost here! Time really zips pass.

I have come to realize that it is important to develop a solid vocabulary in rudiments when it comes to playing music, or drumming in a more specific aspect. To naturalize it into a language of your own, so much so you don't have to memorize rhythms, but you open your mind to whats natural and let it flow, more credibly taking it for granted, like how we take speaking for granted some times.
