Its been a while since my last posting but I've got good reasons! I just took off my pseudo-cast (a.k.a bandage with an elbow splint) this afternoon. For those who don't know, I actually dislocated my elbow in a freak slip during a soccer game, all I remember was me trying to break my fall, then I heard this sick *snap*, and before you know it I was on the ground screaming in pain. I missed the Mr. Big concert due to this too. Anyhow, when the bandages came off today, I totally couldn't recognize my arm. Its officially half to three quarts smaller than what it used to be. Any "muscles" that existed ceased to exist. I couldn't recognize it anyway. And it felt so alien and weird to me, accompanied with some numbness - it was sure foreign. Got signed up to some physio sessions as I still cannot fully mobilize my arm. I cannot full stretch it, neither can I full "close/compress" it. Kinda sick, but at least the bandages are removed and I can type this post in proper and get a good bath. Ah... In any case, my ligaments were torn and possibly some nerves were quite heavily damaged, so it would be a good 2 months before I'm truly in action, although I'm pushing for myself to hit the drums rather soon. Meanwhile, I'm going to be out of soccer for quite a while.

So my birthday came and went, a big shout out to all the bandies and of course Shan the girlfriend for organizing dinner and taking care of me while I was out of action. I love the birthday gifts of course, my new United jersey and shirt from Bershka. I'm now 22, and I'm not loving it, I hate to grow older, but life goes on.

School semester is drawing in to an end, and I have definitely added value to my life! I think I learned quite a lot (as compared to my previous college) and I'm enjoying my "me" time quite a lot. Can't wait for the holidays to come and really just pig out on good food, movies, sleepovers and mahjong. This semester's finals are going to be quite pressure-less, as I've only got 3 MCQs to do while the rest are just final essays. But, like I usually emphasize, I couldn't be less bothered and just want to get them over and done with.
